This race has been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions
Covid – 19 event statement: Central Vermont Runners is currently, and will continue to monitor local, state, and federal regulations and recommendations as they pertain to hosting an event during these challenging times. We are optimistic that we will be able to host Leaf Peepers in October. While it seems likely that our race will at the very least have to make some adjustments in order to accommodate social distancing recommendations and safety policies, it is also very challenging to make those specific plans at this time. We are watching what other events are doing, and will do our best to maintain the highest levels of safety associated with putting on an event. We won’t put the event on if we don’t feel confident in our ability to protect our participants, volunteers, and our community. At this time you can register as a wait list participant. You will be notified when we feel confident in our ability to host the event and will then charge waitlisted participants. Thank you for your patience during these uncertain times, we look forward to seeing our running family in October!

Registration fees:
Half Marathon: $50 until Sept. 1; $65 after Sept. 1
5K: $30 until Sept. 1; $40 after Sept. 1
Your processed credit card/canceled check is confirmation of registration.
Registration switches from the half marathon to the 5K:
If, after having registered for the half marathon, you need to switch down from the half to the 5K, do the following:
Send an email to the Registration Coordinator at rd@catamountultra.com State your name, age, and gender, and request the switch.
Note: Registration fees are non-refundable, and there will be no reduction in the race fee.
- Pick up your bib number from 7:00am until 8:30am on race day at the start/finish on the horseshoe drive at the state office complex in Waterbury.
- Your bib number must be clearly visible on the front torso, not folded, not covered, and pinned at all four corners.
